We specialize in residential interior design of all sizes, including small remodels to large, ground-up new construction projects. Our collaboration with architects and contractors during preliminary plans and throughout the build phase, ensures seamlessly integrated interiors that enhance the architectural features.
Kathleen Kita-Palmer, ASID, NCIDQ, CID, LEED AP
Principal and owner, Kathleen Kita-Palmer, is skilled, experienced, and credentialed. She is a professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), and served as ASID Director at Large and Community Relations Representative in San Diego. Kathleen is NCIDQ and CID certified, a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional), and a certified Feng Shui consultant who studied under the renowned Feng Shui Master, Larry Sang, of Los Angeles. She was an instructor of Feng Shui at the University of California at San Diego and other San Diego colleges and internationally via the highly acclaimed Westbrook University.
K. Kita Design has been featured in Luxe interiors + design, Decor & Style, San Diego Home & Garden and other publications. Kathleen has also participated in the prestigious Street of Dreams and Designer Showcase House.
Based in San Diego, K. Kita Design works on projects all along the west coast from Seattle to San Diego, and as far south as Cabo San Lucas.
