This applies not only to furniture, finishes, fabrics, art, and other décor, but also to the beautiful architectural improvements you made. Working with Kathleen Kita-Palmer is pure joy! My husband and I have consulted with Kathleen on various occasions for design services for our current home and earlier for a previous home. She has also provided design services for several of my friends.

Kathleen has an amazing ability to absorb and enhance her clients’ tastes rather than impose her own. The designs she created for my home are nothing like the ones she did for my friends. Each of our homes reflect our own individuality and preferences.

Kathleen is terrific on the use of space. My current house is small and had little storage when we first moved in. Kathleen cleverly solved the problem by designing built-ins that added significant character to the house, added a huge amount of storage, and somehow made the rooms seem larger. Her designs made our house much more livable.

Kathleen has quite an eye for detail and for visualizing how the various components of a design project would work together. My husband became so confident in Kathleen’s ability to find the right combinations for us that he would often indicate his desire to defer to her judgment when we had a choice to make. And she saved us so much time! The items Kathleen selected for us to review for our home always included things we loved.
